Not a red rose in sight….

Fancy a Valentine’s Day dinner with a difference? As in without all the hype, the red roses, the fizz and all that nonsense about melting eyes across a crowded dinner table?

If you want to escape the oft-over-priced restaurant synthetically romantic hullabaloo then join us for our popular Not-the-Valentine’s-Day pop-up gourmet dinner in our fabulous kitchen dining space near York.

We’ll provide you with a belting five-course gourmet dinner with ingredients sourced from the best of God’s own bounty here in Yorkshire. There won’t be a rose in sight, chocolate mousses are banned, and the only made-for-sharing stuff you’ll be doing will be enjoying an evening of good food, great company, and loads of banter. A real Kitchen Social event, in fact…

We did our first Not-the-Valentine’s-Day dinner last year and it was so successful it led directly to some 75 subsequent gourmet dinner bookings.

Since our first foray into pop-up dining just a year ago we’ve given over our stunning dining area to milestone birthdays, family get togethers, colleague nights out and groups of friends.

At the heart of our Kitchen Social gourmet evenings is Yorkshire’s incredible food sourced from a wide range of artisan food and drink producers who are as passionate about what they rear, make and grow as we are about cooking and serving it.

So if you want a night out with a difference, where the space is your own for the evening, where you can relax in a friendly informal atmosphere while enjoying the best of what Yorkshire’s producers have to offer, then click on to the ‘pop-up dinners’ section of our website to book.

Our Not-the-Valentine’s-Day dinner is available on Saturday February 13th and Sunday February 14th, but other pop-up gourmet dinner dates are available throughout the year.

And if you want us to organise a bespoke event for you on a date of our choosing we can do that too. Just give us a call on 01904 448439 to discuss…
