Gilly has an amazing track record as a private chef and more recently as Head Tutor at Malton Cookery School. If that's not enough keep her busy, Gilly is one half of Birds on the Loose founded jointly with Sue Nelson, the founder of Yorkshire Food Finder. Birds on the Loose is best summed-up as two cooks game for anything on the Yorkshire food scene.
For 2018, Birds on the Loose is set to take on a residency at York's Rattle Owl restaurant, private functions in North Yorkshire. Bird's on the Loose are returning to the Endeavour restaurant in Staithes and booking a series of events that will most certainly count as opportunities to eat great food in interesting venues where you wouldn't ordinarily expect to dine.
