Pop-up Dinner - Chef's table at Malton Cookery School
Malton Cookery School has built an enviable reputation thanks to head tutor Gilly Robinson and the vision of patron Tom Naylor-Leyland's vision of Malton becoming Yorkshire's food capital.
Now, the monthly chef's table slot is much sought-after by Yorkshire chefs including Yorkshire Food Finder's founder Sue Nelson who cooks at the cookery school twice a year.
The meals prepared by Sue are always packed full of Yorkshire's brilliant produce. Her record is using 31 different Yorkshire producers on a single menu. This affirms her view that Yorkshire's abundant larder is not surpassed anywhere.
See your meal prepared in front of you. Ask about the produce and techniques showcased in the seasonal feast. What do you get, canapes to complement your pre-dinner glass of fizz. three courses showcasing December's Yorkshire larder and 'sweets' and coffee to round-off the evening. Good quality wines at affordable prices can be purchased on the night
It may be possible to offer this experience on other dates for groups of eight to 12, subject to Sue's other commitments and courses running at Malton Cookery School.
Bookings are taken by Yorkshire Food Finder on behalf of Malton Cookery School, a business of the town's Talbot Hotel at which accommodation is just a few minutes walk away.
