Pop-up Dinner - Not the Valentine's Day dinner!
As Valentine's Day approaches do roses make you see red? Do violets make you feel blue?
Are you fed up with hearing about romantic dinners for two where creating the ambiance to gaze into each other's eyes seems more important than the food on the plate?
D'you want to get away from the food of love where oysters, scallops, fillet steak and heart-shaped mousses are a triumph of hype over quality?
If so, then come and tuck into our Not-the Valentine's dinner near York where the focus will be quality Yorkshire food packed with flavour enjoyed in an atmosphere of fun and friendship.
We will celebrate the best produce God's own county has to offer with a pop-up dinner created by our founder Sue Nelson, where the accent is on sharing while enjoying good company.
You might be a couple very much in love but don't need Valentine's Day to have a good time. Or you could be a bunch of friends who are looking for more than a table for two.
Whatever your style, we can give you a fantastically informal great night out around the Yorkshire Food Finder table with like minded people who want the best in locally sourced food while having a whale of a time.
Dinners start with a canapé, then a five-course celebration of Yorkshire’s brilliant food producers in a starter, fish and main courses, dessert and then our signature Yorkshire cheeseboard. Finally we include tea and coffee accompanied by a sweet treat.
Sue offers a set menu but can tailor it to take account of food allergens and also offers a vegetarian option. We don’t have a license for booze, so it’s a case of bring your own.
Kitchen Social suppers (or lunches) are ideal for colleagues, family and friendship groups celebrating a milestone or for those who just want to be together to enjoy a great evening of fabulous Yorkshire scoff. We offer exclusive use of the table for the evening for groups of six to ten or with a bit of a squeeze we can accommodate 12 on a date to suit you (which can include our advertised dates if you are the first to book). What’s more Sue loves tailoring the menu for your exclusive supper. Call now on 01904 448439 or email us at email@example.com to discuss your requirements
