Producers - Greedy Little Pig
Carl and Sarah Slingsby have a passion for good food and relish in making their own dry cured bacon, fresh sausages and hams along with air dried products such as Chorizo, Salami, Coppa Ham. The Greedy Little Pig charcuterie range is continually developing with only the highest quality ingredients playing a major role. This passion has driven the Slingsby's to produce all of their own pigs for their hog roast business and where possible their range of charcuterie products.
The Greedy Little Pig's charcuterie business began thanks to Hugh Fearnly Whittingstall who can count on Carl as a big fan, Carl has attended courses at the River Cottage HQ in Dorset. Now, Greedy Little Pig supplies gastropubs and restaurants with premium pork charcuterie.
Greedy Little Pig has also developed a hog roast business to the point where it is regularly fully booked with six hog roasting machines out and about across Yorkshire.
