Producers - Staal Smokehouse

Justin Staal opened his smokehouse in November 2011 and his products are already in demand. Most produce is sourced within Yorkshire, meaning less packaging and short transportation, the only exception being salmon that comes straight from Scotland's west coast. Justin adheres to traditional curing techniques honed and perfected over hundreds of years. His fish and meats are smoked in a locally built kiln where a blend of oak and apple wood sawdust smoulders and generates a fine smoke that is drawn over the product. Justin wants to remain a smoke-to-order producer so goods are as fresh as possible
