Food Trail - Birds on the Loose at the Rattle Owl -

Birds on the Loose is a joint venture of Sue Nelson, Yorkshire Food Finder's founder and Gilly Robinson, private chef and Head Tutor at Malton Cookery School. The duo's strapline 'Two cooks game for anything on the Yorkshire food scene' sums-up perfectly their mission to cook interesting food in interesting places.

Birds on the Loose offers a Monday evening pop-up at the Rattle Owl on Micklegate in York which will be served in this building's private dining space. As is their passion, Gilly and Sue will be using the very best Yorkshire ingredients to celebrate the seasonal larder.

Whether it is an intriguing canape, slightly off-the wall starter, stunning flavours of the main course and luxurious dessert you can be sure of great ingredients, skilled coking and brilliant flavour combinations.

Bird's on the Loose take into account food allergies and will build the menu accordingly if these are declared when booking through the Yorkshire Food Finder website or direct at or by 'phone with Sue on 07850 327927 or Gilly on 07789 908033.

The licensed bar and wine pairings to accompany the Birds on the Loose pop-up dinner menu are provided by the Rattle Owl. All drinks are payable on the night to Rattle Owl.
